Education

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a legal framework that all childcare practitioners follow to support children’s development.

Our nursery is committed to implementing the framework to offer a comprehensive, child centred learning experience that nurtures each child’s potential. It focuses on seven key areas of learning and development:

Keeping you informed

We closely observe each child’s progress, using these insights to inform our weekly planning and activities. This ensures a tailored approach to their development. We track their growth and share progress reports with parents using the Famly app.

Healthy Eating

We provide all children with a healthy, nutritious, and well-balanced diet, tailored to meet their individual needs, dietary requirements, and allergies. Our menu has been carefully crafted by our cooks to ensure every meal supports their growth and well-being.

At House of Eden, our team is made up of dedicated, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about giving children the very best start in life.

We understand how difficult it can be to place your trust in someone else to care for your child—and were here to support you. with care and compassion at the heart of our practice, and we build strong partnerships with families to help every child settle happily, confidently, and at their own pace.

Our Recruitment

Each member of our team undergoes a robust recruitment process. This includes identity and background checks, qualification verification, enhanced DBS clearance and reference checks to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.

Our Training

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and education. All staff members are either fully qualified or currently working towards their Level 3 in Early Years Education. Every team member is trained in paediatric first aid, ensuring your child's safety is always a priority.

We are proud to have dedicated SENDCO and Safeguarding teams in place, providing specialised support where needed. Ongoing professional development is central to our ethos, and our staff continually update their knowledge and practice to ensure they deliver the best possible care and learning experiences for every child.
