Cobblers Hall nursery was opened in 2011 and is located in the Pioneering Care Centre in Newton Aycliffe. Here we are open 51 weeks a year from 7:30am-6pm and offer day carte facilities for 0-4 year olds.

The Nursery has three separate rooms, Tiggers Den for 0-2 year olds, Jungle Tots for 2-3 year olds and Deep Sea Den for 3-4's year olds. There are also two separate gardens, an outdoor courtyard and a play castle. The nursery has disabled access and is 5 stars for its food hygiene and 'Good' by Ofsted - you can view the Ofsted report by clicking here.

Our nursery is a safe and happy space where children are excited to learn through play. We help children build imagination, grow friendships and explore the world at their own pace. by partnering with parents, we help children grow into confident and curious little explorers!

Funding and Fees
From September 2025, working families will be able to access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week during term time, for children aged 9 months to 4 years.
​​
To be eligible, both parents, or one, in a single-parent household, need to be working and earning the equivalent of 16 hours per week at minimum wage. Check your eligibility here; Get free childcare if you're working: Check if you're eligible - GOV.UK

Your funded sessions are sessional

A half day is 8-1pm or 1-6pm and is 5 hours per session

A full day is 8am-6pm and is 10 hours per session

Fee's
Beyond the 30 free hours:

A full day is 8am=6pm

A half day is 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm

There is a small charge for early morning care from 7:30am-8am

​There is a charge for a consumables package which consists meals, nappies, wipes, change creams, sun cream and more

There is a fee if you're late when in collecting your child
