Our Provision

Continuous provision

Our nurseries follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a statutory framework designed to support children's development from birth to five years. Carefully selected resources and opportunities are available, allowing children to follow their own interests and ideas.

Our practitioners observe children closely and thoughtfully enhance the environment to extend their learning, vocabulary and understanding.

Independence and Self-care

We encourage children to develop independence and self-care skills through everyday routines and experiences. Children are supported to make choices, take responsibility and have a go for themselves - brushing their teeth, washing their hands, choosing their food, putting on their coats, to managing their belongings. These opportunities help children build confidence, resilience and the skills they need to become increasingly independent.

Partnership with parents

Strong partnerships with parents and carers are essential to supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. We value the knowledge and experiences that families bring and encourage open, honest and positive communication. By sharing information, celebrating achievements and working together, we can provide consistency between home and nursery and ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Child-centred learning

Our approach to child-centred learning recognises that every child is unique, with their own interests, strengths, experiences and individual needs. We provide children with opportunities to make choices, express their ideas and take an active role in their learning. Through learning through play, meaningful experiences and responsive interactions, we support each child to develop at their own pace while building confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Inclusive Practice

We provide an inclusive environment where every child and family feels welcomed, valued and respected. We celebrate diverse cultures and backgrounds, with our environment and resources reflecting the world around us. We recognise that every child learns differently and adapt our provision to meet individual needs, including SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities). Our dedicated SEND coordinators work closely with children, families and practitioners to ensure every child feels supported, included and able to thrive.

School Readiness

Our approach to school readiness focuses on developing the skills, confidence and positive attitudes children need for their next stage of learning. Through play, everyday experiences and effective teaching and learning, we support children to develop their communication, vocabulary and oracy, social skills, self-regulation, independence and ability to listen, concentrate and follow routines. Our aim is for every child to leave nursery feeling confident, capable, resilient and excited about their next adventure.
